Tipu Impulse Oscillator (TIO) is based on the impulse principle by Alexander Elder when applied to Tipu Trend. Tipu Impulse Oscillator highlights the points where the trend speeds up or slows down. It can also be used for divergence signals.

How to use

Method#1: Tipu Impulse Oscillator measures the strength of the trend. When combined with Tipu Trend indicator, Tipu Impulse Oscillator gives strong and powerful signals to trade. If the market is not ranging, the blue histogram means a buy signal, and the red histogram means a sell signal. As a best practice, it is recommended to confirm trade signals from other time frames and/or other indicators before making a trade decision.

Method#2: Tipu Impulse Oscillator also shows divergence signals. If the price is going up and the TIO is going down, consider covering your buy positions. Conversely, if the price is going down but TIO is going up, consider covering your sell positions or get ready for a buy confirmation signal.

Parameters

• Show Panel?: visibility settings, select true/false to show panel. (need Tipu Panel added to the chart).
• Short Name for the Panel: short name for the panel heading on Tipu Panel
• alert Shift: candle delay for the signal, enter 1 if you want the alert sent after 1 candle to be passed
• alert Mobile: select true/false to get push notification on your device, make sure the device settings are correct here
• alert onscreen on change: select true/false to get alert on the terminal, this alert shows in a separate window
• alert email on change: select true/false to get email alerts, make sure the email settings are correct here
