中国石化新闻网讯 据世界天然气1月20日消息，法国LNG终端运营商Elengy表示，Fos Tonkin工厂将继续运营至2028年。

该运营商表示，继去年2月认购后，该设施2020年后的产能，即每年15亿立方米的再气化产能已全部被预订。

Elengy公司在声明中表示，这一承诺使得Elengy能够做出投资决定，将该公司的活动延长到2020年以后。

Elengy相信Fos Tonkin是支持能源转型的关键资产。因此，该公司目前正致力于发展小型LNG船的装载能力，以向市场提供所需的服务，并支持LNG作为船用燃料的增长。

Elengy: Fos Tonkin to operate until 2028

French LNG terminal operator Elengy said the Fos Tonkin facility will continue operations until 2028.

The operator said that following its call for subscriptions in February last year, for capacity at the facility post-2020, the proposed regasification capacity of 1.5 billion cubic meters per year has been entirely booked.

This commitment has enabled Elengy to take the investment decision needed to extend the site’s activity beyond 2020, the company said in its statement.

Elengy is convinced that Fos Tonkin is a key asset to support the energy transition. As a result, the company is now working on the development of the loading capacities for small LNG vessels in order to provide the market with the required services to support the growth of LNG as marine fuel.

In the future, Fos Tonkin could also become a loading point for trains to supply LNG intermediate storage sites outside LNG terminals. Elengy has already launched the necessary studies for rail connections.

Thanks to its proximity to other multimodal platforms, Fos Tonkin could provide solutions for loading LNG on the train or river barges, the company said.
